Cranky Dog was born somewhere between a stack of lumber, a stubborn bolt that wouldn’t budge, and the words, “I’ve got this.”

We come from a hands-on background — woodworking, DIY, fixing, building, modifying, and occasionally standing back to admire something we absolutely nailed. After years in workshops and garages, we realised something:

The t-shirts out there didn’t really speak our language.

Too flashy.
Too try-hard.
Not enough grit.

So we made the kind of shirts we’d actually wear — while covered in sawdust, mid-project at 10pm, or on a hardware store run that was only supposed to take 15 minutes.

Cranky Dog is for the builders, the fixers, the weekend warriors, the “measure twice” crowd, and yes… the slightly impatient perfectionists. The ones who take pride in doing it themselves — even if it takes three trips to the store.

We design what we’d want to wear.
